Sumy Plant Nasosenergomash JSC creates and maintains conditions to satisfy the sports demands of employees and their families. The company has created and operates various sports sections for sports: basketball, football, chess, drafts, table tennis, darts, athletic gymnastics, weight-lifting, shaping, recreational swimming, water tourism. For these types of in-house competitions are regularly held, both personal and team nature among units. For these purposes, sports halls and a swimming pool are rented; at the expense of the trade union committee, sports equipment is updated and acquired. In workshops 3 and 11, sports rooms are equipped for practicing extreme bench press, weight-lifting, athletic gymnastics, and table tennis.
Combined teams in sports worthily represent the factory in the sports contest of Sumy among industrial enterprises. Particular attention is paid to the organization of sports competitions dedicated to the celebration of the professional holiday “Machine-builder’s Day”. According to the plan of factory events, competitions are held in table tennis, volleyball, futsal, chess, drafts, darts, bowling and paintball. In winter, the ski base operates for the employees of the enterprise and members of their families on the territory of the Solnechny DOL. In summer, hiking and kayaking trips are held. .
