Quality control
JSC “NASOSENERGOMASH Sumy” is one of few Companies in the territory of CIS countries, which have a license to manufacture equipment for nuclear power stations.
Since 1999, JSC “NASOSENERGOMASH Sumy” has developed, implemented and put into operation the Quality Management System, which corresponds to the requirements of international standard ISO 9001. The implamantation of this system enhances the Company’s prestige in the international market, ensures rise in operating capabilities and product quality, as well in the organization management and staff motivation.
It should be noted that in 2013 JSC “NASOSENERGOMASH Sumy” implemented and put into operation an integrated management system, certified according to the international standards OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004.
For the moment all products, manufactured at JSC “NASOSENERGOMASH Sumy”, are certified and have all the necessary permits.
Products, manufactured by the Company, are produced according to the technical specifications and standards, applicable in the territory of Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation and far-abroad countries.
In order to prove the compliance with the requirements of technical regulations On the Safety of Machines and Equipment, the Russian certificates of conformity, acting up to the date of their expiry, have been received for the pumps in due time. Non-Profit Partnership “Certification Center “NASTKHOL” has been selected as a certification body.
Pump type approval certificates, which comply with the requirements of API STANDARD 610 “Centrifugal Pumps for Petroleum, Petrochemical and Natural Gas Industries” (11th edition), have been received for the equipment, which is designed for oil and petrochemical industries. Approval Certificates have been issued by Foreign Enterprise “SGS UKRAINE”.
Equipment application permits, issued by the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision, have been received for the products, supplied to the Russian Federation. Application permit confirms the capability to operate the equipment at the production facilities of various industries in the Russian Federation.
A permit, issued by the Department for Supervision of Safe Work Conduct in Industry (Gospromnadzor), for the right to manufacture and use the pumping equipment in the Republic of Belarus at the facilities, which are under control of Gospromnadzor, is also available.
Pumping equipment, supplied to the nuclear power stations of the Russian Federation and included in the nomenclature of the System of Certification of Equipment, Products and Technologies (EPT), is certified in the system of certification of products and technologies for nuclear plants, radiation sources and storage facilities (EPT).
JSC “NASOSENERGOMASH Sumy” has chosen a duly accredited Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization “AtomTechnoTest” as a certification body in the System of Certification of Equipment, Products and Technologies (EPT).
JSC “NASOSENERGOMASH Sumy” has been approved as a supplier of State Enterprise NNEGC “ENERGOATOM” for the manufacture and supply of the pumping equipment and spare parts for the same to the nuclear power stations of Ukraine.
High-precision tests
A unique complex of test beds, unparalleled in Europe and CIS countries, enables to carry out field tests of both high-pressure and high-capacity motor pump units:
- outlet flow rate: 16 000 m3/h;
- discharge pressure: 280 kgf/cm2;
- nominal power of the motor drives: 14 MW.
The test bed allows to test pumping equipment at the rated power and full-scale speed of rotation in order to prove within the territory of the Company prior to the installation at site all parameters of the equipment, declared in the Contracts for supply and technical catalogues.
The test bed allows to carry out all types of tests: preliminary, acceptance, approval, periodic, qualification and standard tests, as well as long-term reliability tests. The test bed has two test areas, where two pump units may be installed and tested.
Other types of pumps and pump units with the parameters, which were described previously, may be also subject to field tests, which are to be carried out on the base of test area, tanks and systems, servicing test bed, by means of rearrangement. For that purposes a set of large cast iron plates of different heights are available.
At the test bed it is possible to imitate the operating conditions of real crude oil pumping station, including pump units, motors, cooling systems and life support facilities. This is large-sized metal-intensive equipment, which is assembled inside the test bed. The Customer controls the tests, after which the equipment is disassembled. A check assembly is carried out at site in the presence of the Company’s engineering supervisor.
In addition, a number of projects of high complexity, the essence of which is to imitate the emergency situations that may occur at site where the pumps will be operated (dry tests, thermal-shock tests and hot tests), can be implemented at the test bed.
